Hailing from Cuba, Hector Frometa, has a stellar amateur career with a record of 195-22. Many see him as a boxer puncher who uses the ring and footwork. Frometa will make his pro debut November 6th on the Antoine Douglas vs Les Sherrington event @ The D Hotel & Casino Las Vegas, Nevada, USA. No word on his opponent at this time.
Frometa has recently signed with Vito Mielnicki's GH3 Promotions. "We are excited to add Hector to our stable,"said GH3 Promotions president, Vito Mielnicki. "He comes from the great Cuban amateur system and with that pedigree and his hunger to be great, we feel we have added another top prospect to the company."
Frometa, the Cuban National champion has been in the United States for three months and has his adopted Miami as his new home. "It was tough in Cuba. It was hard to live there. I had to fight like a dog just to get to the United States. I will make the most of this great opportunity. I consider myself a real student of boxing as I eat, drink and sleep the sport." said Frometa.
