Sechew Powell vs Sheldon Moore Nov 28th

Sechew Powell (26-6-1), will face Sheldon Moore (14-3-1), Nov 28th in Vasteras (Sweden) for a scheduled eight round welterweight bout.

Sechew Powell was last seen in action over a year ago when he lose to Dmitry Mikhaylenko by 8RD UD, scores 72-80 73-79 74-78. Powell has lost his last four fights with long gaps in-between each of the bouts. Powell does have an impressive resume with fights like, Gabriel Rosado, Cory Spinks, Cornelius Bundrage, Ishe Smith & Kassim Ouma. He started his career in 2002 and since has boxed a total of 192 rounds.

Sheldon Moore, is coming off a 5RD KO this past May against Zoltan Sera. Before that bout he fought top contender Frank Galarza, losing a 3RD KO. Moore started his boxing career in 2010 winning against Ladislav Nemeth. Moore is from Bernissart, Hainaut, Belgium & has only boxed a total of 71 rounds in his short career.

I honestly don’t see the point of this fight. Sechew Powell is coming off a long layoff and has not looked good in years. Sheldon Moore is not really impressing anyone either and even if he wins, there’s no top prospect down the road looking to fight him. Really not for either fighter so I really questions the bout all together.
