WBA super bantamweight champion Guillermo Rigondeaux isn't letting up on his social media onslaught of WBO Super Featherweight champion Vasyl Lomechenko. The two fighters have gone back and forth over the years. Two weekends ago Rigondeaux defeated Moises Flores with a controversial first round KO victory. Ever since then Rigondeaux has been relentlessly attacking Lomachenko trying to get him into the ring.
"Bob is protecting him!" Rigondeaux stated on Twitter. Rigondeaux has been modifying cartoon pictures as well with Lomachenko's promoter Bob Arum stating that he doesn't want Lomachenko anywhere near Rigondeaux because he is afraid he will lose.
"Bob knows allowing his baby to play with me is very dangerous."
Rigondeaux is even posting polls to his Twitter followers asking for votes on who they would rather see Vasyl Lomachenko face next and whether or not the fans believe Lomachenko is ducking him.
In an article by Boxingscene, Lomachenko's manager dared Rigondeaux to come up to 130 so that they could get the fight made however Rigondeaux seems reluctant to do that. Who knows where all this back and forth talk ends up but a fight between Lomachenko and Rigondeaux would be another fight between two of the top pound for pound guys in the world today.
