A crossroads bout will take place tonight between welterweight contender Ray Robinson and gatekeeper Breidis Prescott.
The 10 round bout will take place at the Tropicana Hotel and Casino in Atlantic City, New Jersey.
Robinson (23-2, with 12 knockouts) has won his last 12 bouts since losing to Shawn Porter in July of 2010. The Philadelphia resident has defeated Terrance Cauthen, Ray Narh, and Aslanbek Kozeav during that 12-fight winning streak.
In his last bout on Mar. 24, Robinson stopped veteran Claudinei Lacerda of Brazil in round seven.
Robinson, who is managed by David McWater, is ranked number 10 by the WBC and number 21 by the IBF and WBO.
Prescott (30-10, with 22 KOs) last fought on Apr. 22, losing a one-sided eight round decision to unbeaten prospect Alexander Besputin.
The Colombia-born Prescott, who is best known for knocking out Amir Khan in less than a round back in 2008, has lost five of his last eight bouts.
In a clash of unbeaten featherweights, Luis Lebron (8-0-1, with 4 KOs) of Puerto Rico squares off against Manuel Botti (23-0-1, with 18 KOs) in a 10 round bout. Botto, who hails from the Dominican Republic, has only faced one fighter with a winning record.

Hard-hitting bantamweight Christian Carto (9-0, with 9 KOs) faces his toughest opponent to date on paper tonight, as he squares off against Juan Guzman (22-7, with 12 KOs) in a six round bout.
