2018 Mismatch of the Year: Dillian Whyte KO 6 Lucas Browne

WBC silver heavyweight titlist Dillian Whyte faced former world champion Lucas Browne on March 24 at The O2 Arena in London.

Whyte (25-1, 18 KO's), a Jamaica native who resides in the United Kingdom, was in control of the bout almost from the opening bell before knocking out Browne with a brutal hook in the sixth round.

Whyte-Browne is the winner of the 2018 FightNights.com's Mismatch of the Year.

Browne, who had 22 stoppage wins in 25 victories coming into the fight, held the WBA title briefly before being stripped due to a positive drug test. The 39-year-old required oxygen in the ring after he landed face-first on the canvas.
