Joey Beltran vs. Frank Tate headlines BKFC on April 21

Fort Lauderdale, FL (April 1, 2022) Bare Knuckle Fighting Championship (BKFC), The World’s Fastest Growing Sport, returns to South Florida with BKFC Fight Night Fort Lauderdale on Thursday, April 21 at the Charles F. Dodge City Center in Pembroke Pines, FL.

Headlined by the highly anticipated return of former BKFC Heavyweight World Champion Joey ‘The Mexicutioner’ Beltran against top contender ‘Big’ Frank Tate, advance tickets starting at $55 can be purchased at The Charles F. Dodge City Center is located at 601 City Center Way, Pembroke Pines, FL 33025. Doors on the night of the event will open at 8:00 p.m. ET with the fights being broadcast globally on the BKTV App.

“South Florida has been incredibly supportive of our BKFC events over the last three years and we’re very excited to promote this special Thursday night event on April 21,” said Dave Feldman, President and Founder of BKFC. “Joey Beltran is anxious to fight for the world title again and Frank Tate represents one of the toughest tests in the heavyweight division.”

Fighting out of Carlsbad, CA, Beltran, (6-2-1), made two successful world title defenses against Sam Shewmaker and Marcel Stamps prior to losing a hotly contested decision to Arnold Adams on November 6, 2021. The popular fan favorite had defeated Chase Sherman at BKFC-9 to win the world title.

A native of Birmingham, AL, Tate hits the squared circle following a career best and hometown victory; stopping top rated contender Josh Burns in the third round in the main event at BKFC-17 on April 30, 2021.

Also featured at BKFC Fight Night Fort Lauderdale in the lightweight division, BKFC debuting James ‘Lights Out’ Lilly of the United Kingdom faces off against Adam ‘The Slugger’ Pellerano, (3-1) of Biloxi, MS.

Fighting in the featherweight division, Howard Davis, (1-0), of Plantation, FL battles Josh ‘Tha Prodigy’ Wright, (0-1), of Montana.

Competing in the lightweight division, popular BKFC veteran Tom Shoaff, (3-3), of Schaumburg, IL clashes with Butch ‘The Iron Lion’ Lutchmedial, (1-1).
