Anthony Peterson return postponed to October

Rising Star Promotions, DHH Promotions and Blue Cork Strategies announced today that Beltway Battles: Round Three, the third in a series of pro boxing events in Washington, DC originally set for Saturday, August 6, has been rescheduled for Saturday, October 1, 2022 at the Entertainment & Sports Arena (ESA) in the nation's capital.

Washington, DC lightweight contender Anthony Peterson (39-1-1, 25 KOs) will return along with a rematch between Greg "Sharp Shooter" Outlaw, Jr. (10-1, 1 NC, 5 KOs) of Glenarden, Md. and Wilfrido Buelvas (22-15, 1 NC, 16 KOs) of Barranquilla, Colombia.

Also scheduled to fight on the 10-bout card are featherweight Sulaiman Segawa(13-3-1, 4 KOs), a native of Kampala, Uganda now fighting out of Silver Spring, Md., super featherweight La' Vay Lawrence (1-0, 1 KO) of Washington D.C., and super bantamweight Jay Stancil, III (3-0, 1 KO) of Clinton, Md.

The first bout is set for 7:00pm with doors opening at 6:00pm. Tickets, priced at $51, $78, $132 and $200 plus taxes and applicable fees, are on sale and available at all Ticketmaster locations including Ticketmaster.com, and at the Entertainment & Sports Arena Box Office.

Beltway Battles: Round Three is supported by Events DC, DMPED, Washington DC Economic Partnership, Legacy DC, Urban Boxing, City Renewables, Vault Studio, Gas Guide, Caesar's Sportsbook and Restaurant, La Tingeria, El Paso Mexican Restaurant, City-State Brewing, Chacho Spirits, and Art and Co.
