La Cruz vs. Gadzhimagomedov on Aug 26th in Russia

The IBA Champions' Night event on August 26 in Serpukhov, Russia, on the eve of International Boxing Day will showcase nine exciting fights. In the highly anticipated main event, two-time World Champion Muslim Gadzhimagomedov from Russia is set to square off against the legendary Julio Cesar La Cruz from Cuba, a five-time world champion and two-time Olympic gold medalist.

The super heavyweight clash features Gadzhimagomedov and La Cruz, who have previously met twice in their careers, with La Cruz emerging victorious on both occasions. Now, one of Russia's top boxers has an opportunity for a rematch against one of the world's most decorated opponents.

Ecuador's world championships silver medalist, Julio Castillo, will challenge world champion Mark Petrovsky from Russia in their super heavyweight bout.

In another exciting matchup, Bakhodur Usmonov from Tajikistan, a World Championships bronze medalist in the 63.5kg category, will face off against Luis Arcon from Venezuela, also a Pan American Games bronze medalist.

Vsevolod Shumkov from Russia, who claimed a bronze medal at the recent world championships, is prepared to take on three-time world champion Lazaro Alvares from Cuba in a 60kg contest.
