According to a report from Mike Coppinger of ESPN.com, Tim Tszyu is set to take on Keith Thurman in the inaugural pay-per-view event of Premier Boxing Champions' new partnership with Amazon's Prime Video. The fight is scheduled to take place March 30th in Las Vegas. Tszyu has been on a dominant path lately, and has a 24-0 record with 17 KO's. Tszyu was supposed to take on Jermell Charlo before Charlo decided to move up to face Canelo. After Charlo lost to Canelo in September, he's been quiet about the future of his career.
Keith Thurman, once a major star in the sport, hasn't fought in over two years. Thurman's career has been plagued with inactivity though he always tends to take big fights when he actually does step into the ring. Thurman will look to secure a major victory against Tszyu, who many consider the best junior middleweight fighter in the world.
The first PPV PBC Amazon Prime event has no price yet.
