Jaron "Boots" Ennis Inks Deal with Matchroom Boxing, Poised for Summer Title Defense

Rising welterweight star Jaron "Boots" Ennis has signed a multi-fight promotional deal with Eddie Hearn's Matchroom Boxing, joining forces with Boots Promotions.

The undefeated champion (31-0, 28 KOs) is set for a much-anticipated return to the ring this summer, where he'll make the first defense of his IBF Welterweight title.

Ennis solidified his championship status with a thunderous 10th-round knockout of Roiman Villa in Atlantic City last July. This victory followed his January 2023 win over Karen Chukhadzhian which secured the interim title. With this latest win, Ennis extended his unbeaten record and added another impressive KO to his tally, bringing his total to a staggering 28 knockouts in 31 fights.

Following the vacancy left by Terence Crawford, Ennis was officially promoted to full champion in November 2023. Now partnered with Matchroom, a powerhouse in the boxing world, Ennis is primed to take his career to even greater heights. Details regarding his upcoming title defense will be announced soon.
