Sampson Boxing Signs Undefeated Super Bantamweight Bryan Acosta

Sampson Boxing proudly declares the exclusive signing of Bryan "Latino" Acosta, an undefeated super bantamweight prospect, to a multi-year promotional contract.

Acosta, boasting a flawless record of 20-0 with 8 KOs, exhibits impeccable counterpunching skills and remarkable boxing finesse. Originating from the renowned boxing hub of Hermosillo, Sonora, Mexico, and nurtured in the U.S. until the age of nine, the 25-year-old embarked on his professional journey in 2016. His inaugural triumph came in May 2022 when he clinched the WBC Continental Americas Featherweight Championship by securing a tenth-round TKO against compatriot Benito Sanchez Garcia.

Despite the absence of an official acknowledgment on his record due to the contentious history of the AIBA, Acosta recently notched a significant victory. Just this month, he delivered a stunning eighth-round knockout to fellow prospect Alberto "Impacto" Melian of Argentina, seizing the IBA American Championship.

Expressing his optimism for the future, Acosta remarked, "I understood that defeating Melian would pave the way for opportunities, and now, joining forces with Sampson, I'm confident of navigating the path towards a world championship. I eagerly anticipate advancing towards my pinnacle, now with the ideal team by my side."

Alfredo Caballero, Acosta's trainer, voiced his satisfaction in aligning their promising journey with Sampson Boxing. "Collaborating with Sampson Boxing brings me immense joy. I've awaited this chance, knowing that divine timing is impeccable, and this moment marks the perfect juncture for our alliance."

Extending a warm welcome to the newest addition, Sampson Lewkowicz expressed his enthusiasm, stating, "Bryan Acosta epitomizes a future world champion, possessing a style that resonates with fans worldwide. I am thrilled to collaborate with him and his team, dedicated to aiding this young talent in realizing his aspiration of championship glory."
