Stevenson vs. Harutyunyan & Foster vs. Conceicao World Title Doubleheader July 6th

Newark’s hometown hero, Shakur Stevenson, is gearing up to defend his WBC lightweight world championship right in his own backyard. On July 6th, at the Prudential Center in Newark, New Jersey, Stevenson will face off against Artem Harutyunyan, a German Olympian of Armenian descent.

In a thrilling co-feature, O’Shaquie Foster will put his WBC junior lightweight world title on the line against Robson Conceição, a Brazilian Olympic gold medalist and seasoned world title challenger. The excitement doesn’t stop there, as Keyshawn Davis will kick off the televised action with a 10-round lightweight bout against Mexican veteran Miguel Madueño.

Stevenson, with an impressive record of 21-0 and 10 knockouts, has conquered titles across three weight divisions since turning pro in 2017. His journey to the top includes a silver medal at the 2016 Olympics and notable victories over formidable opponents like Joet Gonzalez and Oscar Valdez. Now, he looks to defend his lightweight crown in front of his hometown fans.

Challenging Stevenson is Artem Harutyunyan, boasting a record of 12-1 with 7 knockouts. A bronze medalist for Germany at the 2016 Olympics, Harutyunyan has shown his prowess in the ring with victories over tough opponents. Despite his recent setback against Frank Martin, Harutyunyan is eager to seize his first world title against the formidable Stevenson.
