Janibek Alimkhanuly vs. Andrei Mikhailovich Set for July 13th in Las Vegas on ESPN

In a highly anticipated match, unified middleweight champion Janibek Alimkhanuly is set to defend his titles against the unbeaten Russian-born Kiwi challenger Andrei Mikhailovich on July 13th at the Palms Casino Resort in Las Vegas.

Mikhailovich, boasting a record of 21-0 with 13 knockouts, is Alimkhanuly’s highest-ranked challenger on the IBF side and is currently ranked no. 11 with the WBO. At 26 years old, Mikhailovich has yet to secure a notable victory, making this fight a significant step up in competition for him. Alimkhanuly, with a record of 15-0 and 10 knockouts, has expressed interest in a unification bout against the newly upgraded WBC champion Carlos Adames. The timing would align well if Alimkhanuly triumphs over Mikhailovich and Adames defeats Terrell Gausha next week. However, the promotional barriers between Top Rank and PBC present a significant challenge.

The co-feature will see Raymond Muratalla (20-0, 16 KO) face off against former super featherweight champion Tevin Farmer (33-5-1, 8 KO). Farmer, once considered a top contender at 130 pounds, is looking to revitalize his career after a loss to JoJo Diaz and a series of underwhelming performances.

Other notable undercard bouts include William Foster III (17-1, 11 KO) taking on Eridson Garcia (18-1, 12 KO), Ruben Villa (22-1, 9 KO) continuing his campaign against Sulaiman Segawa (16-4-1, 6 KO), and the Top Rank debut of Gustavo Lemos (29-1, 19 KO).

This fight card promises an exciting night of boxing, with Alimkhanuly looking to solidify his dominance in the middleweight division and Mikhailovich aiming to make a name for himself on the world stage.
