Riyadh Season Partners with Top Rank and Golden Boy Promotions

In a strategic move by Turki Alalshikh, chairman of the General Entertainment Authority in Saudi Arabia, Riyadh Season has announced significant partnerships with Top Rank and Golden Boy Promotions.

The collaboration with Golden Boy Promotions will kick off with an interim WBC junior middleweight clash between champion Serhii Bohachuk (24-1, 23 KOs) and the undefeated Vergil Ortiz Jr. (21-0, 21 KOs). This exciting bout is scheduled for Saturday, August 10, at the Michelob Ultra Arena in Mandalay Bay Resort and Casino, Las Vegas.

A week earlier, on August 3, Riyadh Season will make its debut in the USA at the BMO Stadium in Los Angeles. This event will feature a highly anticipated match between Terence Crawford and Israil Madrimov for the WBA junior middleweight title, with a special performance by Eminem before the main event. Top Rank announced via social media that they will collaborate on 12 events through the remainder of 2024 and into 2025, stating, "The partnership will use the power and reach of both organizations to elevate the sport. Riyadh Season will have a presence across a host of Top Rank bills, both in the build-up and on fight night."

Over the past year, Riyadh Season has hosted some of the most notable boxing events, including the first undisputed heavyweight title fight of the 21st century between Oleksandr Usyk and Tyson Fury.
