Viktor Faust-Rydell Booker April 5 in Germany

Ukrainian heavyweight Viktor Faust is set to face American fighter Rydell Booker on April 5 at the MBS Arena in Potsdam, Germany.

Faust, who holds a record of 13-1 (8 KOs), is working to bounce back from a 2023 stoppage loss to Cuban contender Lenier Pero. Since that setback, the 32-year-old has notched two consecutive wins.

Booker, 44, enters the bout with a record of 28-7-1 (15 KOs), but he has dropped six of his last 10 outings. His career high point came back in 2004, when he faced James Toney, though Booker’s momentum was interrupted by a lengthy stint away from the sport while serving time for drug-related charges. His most recent victory was against John Cortez in Colombia, in December 2024.

In the main event of this SES promotion, Tina Rupprecht and Sumire Yamanaka will battle for the undisputed atomweight championship. Rupprecht currently holds the WBA and WBC titles, while Yamanaka owns the IBF and WBO belts.
