Jaron "Boots" Ennis, the reigning IBF welterweight champion, is set to defend his title in a highly anticipated rematch against mandatory challenger Karen Chukhadzhian on November 9th at the Wells Fargo Center in Philadelphia. Although P2M Box Promotions initially won the purse bid, Matchroom has surprisingly secured control of the event. Chukhadzhian (24-2, 13 KOs), who previously went the distance with Ennis (32-0, 29 KOs) without winning a round, has since claimed three consecutive victories, including an IBF regional title. His recent win over Harry Scarff earned him another shot at Ennis. However, it remains doubtful whether this rematch will unfold any differently.
