Jessie Vargas Hires Erik Morales as New Trainer

Jessie Vargas will take on Timothy Bradley Sat, Jun 27 2015 @ StubHub Center, Carson, California, USA on HBO for the vacant WBO welterweight title. Morales will replace Roy Jones Jr., who had been working with the Vargas. Jones back out of because of a very busy schedule and could not commit to training Jessie Vargas.

Morales, 38, a former four-division world champion retired with a record of 52-9 (36 KOs) has trained many fighters in Mexico. He will bring a lot of experience, knowledge and support for Jessie leading up to and in the corner on fight night.
