Soto-Felix on Bradley-Vargas Card

Humberto Soto has had some issues securing an opponent for his next fight on June 27th on HBO. He was 1st schedule to take on Frankie Gomez, however Gomez pulled out of the fight for being quite overweight. Then he was schedule to fight Raymundo Beltran who just tested positive for the anabolic steroid stanozolol following his second-round knockout of Takahiro Ao, on May 1st in Las Vegas.

Now an agreement has been reach to fight Jose Felix Jr. (29-1-1, 24KOs). The fight will take place at 140lbs and will be scheduled for 10Rs. Felix Jr. was currently in training for a fight against Yakubu Amidu that was scheduled for June 13th. No word on a new opponent for Yakubu Amidu.

Jose Felix Jr. is coming off three straight knockouts. He has one lost to Bryan Vasquez by UD in April 2014.
