On the heels of a knockout over George Beroshvili June 26th, Murray is not resting and ready for more action. Making a quick ring return, fighting just three weeks later he will fight July 18 in Manchester, England against an opponent to be announced. Murray's placement on the card comes as unbeaten Anthony Joshua is moved to a planned September 12 show at O2 Arena in London.
Murray started the year fighting Gennady Golovkin where he suffered a TKO in the 11th RD. Murray also signed with a new promoter Matchroom Boxing shortly after the lost to Triple G.
The July 18 fight card in Manchester, features Scott Quigg vs Kiko Martinez. Also Anthony Crolla returns to the ring against lightweight Darleys Perez.
