International Boxing Federation has ordered a welterweight eliminator bout Diego Chaves (23-2-1, 19KOs) taking on Kevin Bizier (24-2, 16KOs). The winner would become the mandatory challenger to IBF champion Kell Brook. Devon Alexander was supposed to take on Diego Chaves this September, however he has pulled out. This does not mean that the fight is official and that it will happen. Brook could just end up fighting Diego Chaves.
In Diego Chaves last fight he took on Timothy Bradley and fought to a twelve round draw. Bizier fought in April, winning an eight round decision over Fouad El Massoudi. Devon Alexander lost to Amir Khan in December and Kell Brook recently defeated Frankie Gavin by TKO.
We're not sure who all these fighters will end up but we'll keep you posted.
