Brian Minto (41-9, 26KOs), will step in to take on face Dillian Whyte (15-0, 12KOs), September 12 show at O2 Arena in London, England. Dominick Guinn was originally schedule to fight Whyte but pulled out for medical reasons. They will fight for the vacant WBC International Silver heavyweight title scheduled for 10 rounds. This is part of the Anthony Joshua vs Gary Cornish fight card.
Dillian Whyte is currently undefeated and sports a 80% knockout ratios. He is coming off 11 straight knockout wins. He recently fought Irineu Beato Costa Junior winning by KO in the first round. Costa Junior was down twice in that round.
Minto last fought Monty Filimaea this past March winning by a second round knockout. This was part of the Super 8 cruiserweight tournament where Minto fought three opponents in one day. He also won against Daniel Ammann and lost to Israel Adesanya.
If Dillian Whyte wins, which he should then there is a possibility he could face Anthony Joshua if he also wins.
