Result: Austin Trout KOs Hernandez in six

Austin Trout defeated Joey Hernandez by a sixth round knockout @ Hollywood Palladium, Hollywood, California. The fight was televised on Fox Sports 1. Austin Trout landed 30% of his punches. Right from the start of the bout Austin Trout was in control of the fight using his snapping jab to keep Joey Hernandez in check. Trout, scored his 17th KO of his career by beating the body and landing a final body punch to break him down. Hernandez got dirty at one point and body slammed Trout at which point the ref took a point away from Hernandez.

The fight was part of Premier Boxing Champions' 'PBC on Fox Sports 1: Toe to Toe' series.
