Andy Ruiz vs Devin Vargas on UniMas

Unbeaten heavyweight Andy Ruiz (24-0, 17 KOs), will face Devin Vargas (18-4, 7 KOs) on September 26th, at the Tachi Palace Hotel and Casino in Lemoore, California. The fight will air live on UniMas, beginning at 11 p.m.

Ruiz last fought December 20th against Siarhei Liakhovich in Phoenix. He won a 10 round UD, scores: judges: Chris Flores 98-92, Gonzalo Valenzuela 96-94, Derek Zazuetta 99-91. he is currently undefeated and sports a 71% knockout ratio. His last fight was the first time he went 10 round since is debut in 2009.

Devin Vargas, is coming off three straight TKO loses to Dominic Breazeale, Jason Bergman and Andrzej Wawrzyk. His last fight was well over a year ago.

This fight is clearly set up for Andy Ruiz to look good and win BIG.

Unbeaten Jose Ramirez was scheduled to fight on the card, but suffered an injury during training camp a few weeks ago.
