Super lightweight Oscar Valenzuela (9-1-1, 5 KOs) and Demond Brock (9-3, 3 KOs) will face each other in a ten round fight for the vacant WBC USNBC lightweight title. The event takes place Saturday Nov. 14th @ Southwest University Event Center El Paso, Texas, USA.
Oscar Valenzuela was last seen in action May 9th against Irving Garcia winning a close MD, scores: judges: Abe Belardo 77-75, Steve Morrow 77-75, Marty Sammon 76-76. His only lost is against Mike Reed by 8RD UD in 2014. He started his pro boxing career in 2010 and has fight a total of 49 rounds to date. For Valenzuela this is what many feel is a walk over fight to bigger names in the Super lightweight division.
Demond Brock is coming off a no contest against Hector Garcia this past Aug. due to a accidental head butt in third causes cut on Garcia. Brock, started his boxing career in 2012 losing to Maurice Hooker. His boxing career has not been stellar but he is looking to turn thing around against Valenzuela.
In the co-main event super lightweight Carlos Villa (9-2-1, 5 KOs) vs Pablo Torres (7-7-2, 5 KOs) in an 8-round matchup.
