Eimantas Stanionis remains unbeaten with unanimous decision victory over Levan Ghvamichava

2016 Olympian Eimantas Stanionis remained undefeated in the opening bout of Premier Boxing Champions on Fox Sports 1 on Friday evening at Minneapolis Armory in Minneapolis, Minnesota with an eight-round unanimous decision win over Georgian fighter Levan Ghvamichava.

Stanionis (7-0, 5 KO's), 24, a Lithuania native training with legendary trainer Ronnie Shields in Houston, Texas, dominated the fight behind a hard jab and solid left hand counters.

The 33-year-old Ghvamichava (18-4-1, 13 KO's), who is known as 'The Wolf' for having an insanely hairy chest, was game, but was completely outmatched. He was hurt early in the fight from a left to the body, but Staniolis was unable to knock him out, as Ghvamichava was on his bicycle for most of the fight.
