Olympic gold medalist Yeleussinov scores another quick KO in Monaco

Dainyar Yeleussinov is off to a hot start as a professional.

Yeleussinov, a 2016 Olympic gold medalist representing Kazakhstan, picked up his fifth consecutive victory, knocking down Marcos Mojica five times before the referee halted the action in the third at Casino de Monte Carlo in Monaco on Saturday.

Yeleusinnov (5-0, 3 KO's), a southpaw, who is trained by his father Marat Yeleussinov, used his speed and timing to land on Mojica at will in the opening round.

Yeleusinnov dropped Mojica (16-3-2, 12 KO's), 33, of Nicaragua, was dropped twice in the second round, once with a sharp left hand, and a body shot.

Mojica was saved by the bell, but Yeleusinnov went right back to business in the third, sending him to the canvas with a thunderous combination. Mojica's heart refused to give in, but after taking a huge uppercut, the referee had no choice but to save him from further punishment.
