Pacquiao: Tell Mayweather to come back and we will fight

Manny Pacquiao is resting after suffering a scratched cornea during Saturday's unanimous decision victory over Adrien Broner.

The injury occurred when the tape on one of Broner's gloves scratched his eye during a clinch during the middle portion of the fight.

The 40-year-old Pacquiao (61-7-2, 39 KO's) wore an eye patch, but removed it on Monday before attending an NBA game between the defending champion Golden State Warriors and the Los Angeles Lakers at Staples Center, which was also attended by Floyd Mayweather Jr, who outpointed Pacquiao in a much-hyped 2015 fight.

Obviously money is a big factor, but Pacquiao wants revenge more than anything else.

"I will ask my promoters who's next, and we will announce that in proper time," Pacquiao said. Tell him [Mayweather] to come back to the ring, and we will fight. "I only want to continue to fight the best. If Floyd can no longer fight at my level, then, of course, he should stay retired.

Pacquiao also told FightNights.com after the fight that he still wants to fight for three more years before retiring for good.

"Right now I'm still okay," Pacquiao said. " I mean I can still fight and you see my performance, I can be an aggressive fighter, I can give my best at the age of 40."
