WBC champ Devin Haney looks to defend his title for the fourth time, when he takes on WBC lightweight interim champion JoJo Diaz Jr. The event will take place on Saturday, December 4th, live from the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas. Matchroom sensation Devin Haney (26-0, 15 KO’s) continues his thrilling title defence run, this time putting the WBC belt on the line. At just 22-years-old, Haney boasts a perfect record of 26-0, with his last win coming by way of unanimous decision against former three-weight world champion Jorge Linares. Ready for the challenge is Golden Boy’s WBC interim lightweight world champion and mandatory challenger, Joseph “JoJo” Diaz, Jr. (32-1-1, 15 KOs). Diaz Jr. is currently ranked as one of the best lightweights in the division and was last seen in the ring defeating former world champion Javier Fortuna via unanimous decision on July 2021.
