Brandon Glanton eyes title shot, faces David Light on December 2

Rising cruiserweight star Brandon Glanton is ready to risk it all, as he takes on David Light on December 2 at the ProBox TV Events Center, Plant City, Florida.

The fight that will be broadcast live on ProBox TV sees the WBO numbers 6 and 7 collide, in a fight that hypothetically puts the winner in line to face current champion Lawrence Okolie.

Atlanta's Glanton discussed preparations for his upcoming clash with Light, a fight that will be contested for two of the WBO's regional titles.

Glanton said, "I'm excited for this fight, I'm glad to be boxing again on ProBox TV, ProBox have kept me active this year, and an active Brandon Glanton is a dangerous Brandon Glanton.

"We've worked a lot on technique recently. We know I can fight, but I want to break people down not just physically but technically too. That's what I plan on doing on December 2.

"I've watched David Light, and he has skills, he's number 6 in the world for a reason, but I'm more focused on doing what I do because I know that's enough to win this fight and put myself in line for a world title opportunity in 2023."

Glanton has remained active in 2022, appearing twice on ProBox TV prior to his outing with New Zealand's Light on December 2 in Tampa. Florida.

'Bulletproof' opened up about his aspirations in 2023, with the all-action Atlanta native having his sights set on one specific target.

He stated, "I have my eyes on Lawrence Okolie's WBO world title, that's what I want. I'm not overlooking David Light, not for one second, but I got in this business to be world champion, that's the end goal.

"I'm all about making a statement on December 2 on ProBox TV, then I'm going to see Lawrence Okolie really soon. He's the man with the title, so that's the man I want to fight and when it happens, I'm bringing that Bulletproof mentality that will break him down and see me crowned world champion."
