Tyson Fury Promises to Break Oleksandr Usyk Ahead of Massive Saudi Arabia Fight

British fighter Tyson Fury has come out fighting with recent comments ahead of his massive fight with Ukrainian bruiser Oleksandr Usyk. The fight, which will take place in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, on the 17th of February, will see an undisputed heavyweight champion crowned for the first time in the era of four belts.

Fury holds the WBC belt, with Usyk possessing the WBA, WBO, and IBF titles, making their upcoming clash a truly titanic one and one that is sure to lead to a massive audience watching both in person and on TV. Fury bigged up the fight while taking a break from slinging rather bizarre insults at Usyk, stating,

“It’s going to be one of the fights for the ages,”

“I believe we are both destined to be here and to be in this big fight in Saudi Arabia, and there’s only one winner, and I am destined to become the undisputed champion.”

“More than that, I am destined to cement my legacy as the No. 1 fighter in this era. To do that, I have to beat this little man, and that’s it, simple as.”

“Easier said than done, I understand; he’s a tricky man, good boxer, slick. But I have seen many people like him before, and when they fight the big men, they struggle.”

“He’s going to struggle on February 17 and he’s going to lose, I will break him for sure.”

35-year-old Fury overcame Francis Ngannou by a split decision in his last fight, which also came in Saudi Arabia, back in October, and he has a record of 34 wins and a draw from his 35 pro fights.

Usky has won all of his 21 professional fights, the last of which came in August in Poland when he knocked out Daniel Dubois in the ninth round, and that success came after back-to-back victories over British fighter Anthony Joshua, leading to the 36-year-old taking the WBA, WBO, and IBF titles.
