Cuban super middleweight Osleys Iglesias is preparing for his upcoming bout against Ukraine’s Petro Ivanov at the Cabaret du Casino de Montreal in Montreal, Canada, on November 7. Iglesias, 26, fresh off his victory against Sena Agbeko in August, is eager to continue his winning streak.
“I’m thrilled to be fighting so frequently,” said Iglesias. “Petro Ivanov is an undefeated fighter with dreams of becoming a world champion. Most importantly, he has the courage to step into the ring with me. I respect that, but I’m determined to deliver another electrifying performance for the fans in Montreal and around the world.”
Ivanov, 28, sees this fight as a pivotal moment in his career. “November 7 is an incredible opportunity to make my mark on the global stage,” he said. “I know Iglesias is strong and hits hard, but in boxing, anyone can be beaten. I’m training hard to make sure he’s no exception.”
In the co-main event, Steven Butler will take on Diego Chaves in a middleweight clash. The undercard is packed with exciting matchups, including Leila Beaudoin vs. Edith Soledad Matthysse at 130 lbs, Dzmitry Asanau vs. Matias Rueda at lightweight, Wilkens Mathieu vs. Marcos Karalitzky at light heavyweight, and Thomas Chabot vs. Jhon Orobio at super featherweight.
