Boxing’s biggest names, including Ryan Garcia, Devin Haney, and Teofimo Lopez, wrapped up their coast-to-coast press tour at The Mayan in Los Angeles ahead of the highly anticipated FATAL FURY: City of the Wolves event. This historic three-fight card, the first-ever U.S. event presented by Ring Magazine, will transform New York’s Times Square into a world-class boxing venue on May 2.

The star-studded event is promoted by Ring Magazine in collaboration with SNK Corporation, Golden Boy Promotions, and Matchroom Boxing.

Fighter Quotes:

Ryan Garcia: “I’m focused on knocking out Rolly Romero, but my real goal is facing Devin Haney again.”

Rolly Romero: “Ryan’s left hook doesn’t scare me. He’s not chasing belts—he’s chasing fame.”

Devin Haney: “I’m locked in on Jose Ramirez. After that, I’ll handle Garcia.”

Jose Ramirez: “I’m stronger and faster at this weight. I’ll test Haney’s chin and make a statement.”

Teofimo Lopez: “My biggest competition is myself. This is my takeover.”

Arnold Barboza Jr.: “Teo is overrated. I’m going to slap that clown around.”

Event Organizers Speak:

Golden Boy’s Oscar De La Hoya praised the historic nature of the event, calling Garcia’s return a major moment for the sport. Matchroom’s Frank Smith and Brad Jacobs emphasized how Times Square will become the epicenter of boxing on May 2, while Rick Reno of Ring Magazine highlighted the innovation behind this unprecedented spectacle.

With high stakes, undefeated records on the line, and potential future mega-fights in play, FATAL FURY is set to make boxing history in the heart of New York City.
