Jared "The Real Big Baby" Anderson, the heavyweight contender from Toledo, Ohio, is gearing up for a fresh start in 2025. After a tough loss in 2024, Anderson will return to the ring on February 14, facing Marios Kollias in a 10-rounder at The Theater at Madison Square Garden. This fight is part of a highly anticipated ESPN+-streamed undercard featuring several notable bouts.
Headlining the event is a WBO lightweight world title fight between Denys Berinchyk and unbeaten American Keyshawn Davis. The undercard will also showcase the professional debut of Puerto Rican prospect Juanmita Lopez De Jesus, who will take on Bryan Santiago in a junior bantamweight match. In addition, rising welterweight talent Keon Davis will compete in a four-round bout against an opponent to be named.
The main card, including Berinchyk-Davis, Xander Zayas-Slawa Spomer, and Vito Mielnicki Jr.-Connor Coyle, will be broadcast live on ESPN, ESPN Deportes, and ESPN+ at 9 p.m. ET/6 p.m. PT. The undercard will stream exclusively on ESPN+ starting at 5 p.m. ET/2 p.m. PT.
Top Rank Chairman Bob Arum expressed his confidence in Anderson's future, stating that Anderson is still one of the most formidable heavyweights and expects him to make a strong comeback this year. He also highlighted the potential of Juanmita Lopez De Jesus, citing his family and amateur pedigree as a future world champion, and praised the talent of Keon Davis.
Anderson, with a record of 17-1 and 15 knockouts, has been a promising heavyweight since turning professional in 2019. He achieved rapid success with multiple knockout victories but suffered a setback in 2024, losing to Martin Bakole in a tough bout. Kollias, with a record of 12-3-1, has never been stopped since his pro debut in 2014 and comes into this fight after a majority decision loss to Kem Ljungquist.
Juanmita Lopez De Jesus, the son of former world champion Juan Manuel “Juanma” Lopez, brings family legacy and Olympic experience to his professional debut, adding to the excitement of the event at Madison Square Garden.
