Peterson-Matthysse, Alexander-Brook may fall on same card

     Golden Boy Promotions seems to be close to getting a deal done that will likely put Lamont Peterson against Lucas Matthysse and Devon Alexander vs Kell Brook on the same card. If Golden Boy finds a way to get it done, it will most likely be on May 18th, two weeks after the return of Floyd Mayweather and Canelo Alvarez. It would be an amazing month for Golden Boy to have two huge cards just two weeks apart. That would make it a huge month for the promoting powerhouse, and likely set the tone for another set of fights to be matched up later in the fall, perhaps placing the winners and losers of these bouts against each other. It'll be interesting to see what Golden Boy's plan is with all these fighters once the May 18th bouts are over.
