48 year old legend Bernard Hopkins (52-6, 32 KO's) did what he has become used to doing over the years, defied the odds. Hopkins once again used his expertise boxing knowledge, and his tactical skills to defeat the previously undefeated Tavoris Cloud (24-1, 19 KO's) by Unanimous Decison Saturday night at the Barclay's Center. From the opening bell Cloud got drawn into fighting the fight he swore not to fight, Bernard's fight. He failed to open up, failed to goto the body, and failed to put enough pressure and throw enough punches to compete with the 48 year old mastermind. Hopkins doesn't look like he's going anywhere soon and may see the age of 50 before he actually decides to retire.
