Dangerous lightweight contender Lucas Matthysse has attainted the services of the legendary Al Haymon. Haymon will serve as an advisor to the lightweight contender. Matthysse is 33-2 with 31 KO's coming by way of knockout. His two losses were spilt decision losses to Zab Judah and Devon Alexander. In both fights he had Judah and Alexander on the canvas with knockdowns, and much of the boxing public considered the losses highly controversial, making them believe that he is still an undefeated fighter. Matthysse is slated to face Lamont Peteron on May 18th in Atlantic City, with the winner is expected to face Danny Garcia on September 8th of this year.
