“I am really looking forward to fighting at Dover Downs again,” Hernandez-Harrison said. “It’s a great venue and it’s close enough to home that my fans can easily make the drive up to support me. I hope that I can put on a good show for them and gain some new fans in the process.”

2013 has been very busy for Hernandez-Harrison who has already fought five times this year. There are plans to have Hernandez-Harrison return to the Washington, D.C., region in the fall.

“Dusty is gaining valuable experience by fighting on the road that will benefit him down the line,” Buddy Harrison, the fighter’s Father and trainer, said. “The people at Dover Downs have been so good to us that I would love to have Dusty fight on every show here if he could.”

In addition to his ring pursuits and being a college student, Dusty is very active in giving back to his community. This coming Saturday, July 20, he will be participating in the Hoops-4-Homeless Youth All-Star Basketball Game, along with members of the Washington Redskins, to help raise funds and awareness to the Code Blue Campaign, a charity that benefits homeless youth.

Hernandez-Harrison, an all around athlete, is no stranger to the hardwood having played shooting guard on his high school team. His senior year his team went 25-2, finishing second in the State.
