Saul Canelo Alvarez vs Alfredo Angulo set for March 8th PPV

Just days after reports broke that Saul "Canelo" Alvarez chose Alfredo Angulo as his next opponent, Golden Boy has confirmed the announcement to be official. The fight will be held on March 8th at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas, NV. It will be a Showtime PPV event. No undercard has been announced for the fight as of yet but it's being rumored that it will feature Jorge Linares, Omar Figueroa, and Leo Santa Cruz all in separate bouts. Alvarez is coming off an unanimous decision loss to pound for pound king Floyd Mayweather while Angulo is coming off a loss to Erislandy Lara.
