Khan wins poll, Mayweather announcement likely

The poll to lead the way to fight Floyd Mayweather on May 3rd at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas, NV is over. Amir Khan defeated Marcos Maidana by a 55% to 45% vote margin on Mayweather's site Mayweatherpromotions.com. Mayweather announced that the winner of the poll, which ended yesterday, will be the person he fights on May 3rd. Unless Mayweather throws the boxing world for a loop, which is never out of the question when it comes to Floyd, Mayweather will be announcing his fight against Amir Khan this week.
