Carl Froch vs George Groves II reaches agreement

The rematch that everyone has been dying to see in 2014 between Carl Froch and George Groves has finally reached an agreement according to the IBF. The fight is going to be announced Thursday evening. A date and venue have yet to be set. The highly anticipated rematch is expected to be one of the U.K's biggest fights in history. Their controversial first fight has had the UK fans on their hands and knees begging for a rematch. 


In the first fight Groves shocked everyone as he was able to hurt Froch early on dropping him in the first round. Groves was giving Froch a beating however in the middle rounds it was Froch that started to take control of Groves, who seemed to exhaust himself in the early rounds trying to knock Froch out. After Froch started to come back, controversy would explode in round 9 when referee Howard Foster stopped the fight after he felt Groves had seen enough. Groves however was barely hurt and the controversial ending had the fans begging for a rematch.
