Golovkin-Monroe Jr draws 1.3 million viewers

The middleweight title fight between Gennady Gokovkin and Willie Monroe Jr Saturday night drew in 1.3 million viewers on HBO. The fight is the third biggest draw on HBO this year for boxing, following the Canelo-Kirkland fight (2.1) and Klitschko-Jennings fight (1.7).

HBO has been drawing some great numbers that last few weeks, likely with all the hype from the Mayweather-Pacquiao fight. Next up HBO has another big seller as Miguel Cotto takes on Danny Geale June 6th at the Barclay's Center.
