Julio Cesar Chavez Jr vs Matthew Macklin possible

Promoter Eddie Hearn is throwing around the idea of putting Matthew Macklin in the ring with Julio Cesar Chavez Jr in Las Vegas this July. Both sides are very interested in making the fight happen, though the weight that the bout will be fought at could hinder the possible fight.

Chavez Jr has weighed in above 168 in his last three fights while Macklin doesn't fight above 160. Chavez Jr hasn't been able to make 160 in three years. Macklin could move up to 168 but he has said that he'd be worried about Chavez Jr's weight on fight night, which could be up to 180. The fight is still in the early stages of being discussed.
