Calzaghe and Froch exchange words

The never ending verbal tension between former super middleweight champion Joe Calzaghe and Carl Froch continued yesterday on Twitter. Calzaghe took to congratulate DeGale, yet at the same time take a shot a Froch.

"Congrats to @jamesdegale1 I think he'd whoop Froch! Predictions???" Calzaghe stated.

"You didn't fancy the job." Froch fired back.

The never ending debate between who would have won between Joe Calzaghe and Carl Froch seems like it will never end as fans began to engage both fighter's giving their predictions. Calzaghe retired right before Froch started to build his name. At the time Froch was calling out Calzaghe to fight him however Joe didn't seem interested in the fight stating that Froch was really not worth a fight over retirement. Froch was not a big name at the time and by the time he built it up Joe had been well out of the boxing game. That won't stop them from arguing on Twitter even though publicly they have shown mutual respect for each other.
