Undefeated pound for pound King Floyd Mayweather (48-0, 26 KO's) had some fun with the media today at his boxing club in Las Vegas, NV as they were there watching a workout for Errol Spence Jr, who is fighting this Saturday night on the PBC on NBC card. Mayweather told Yahoo's Kevin Iole that his leading contenders to face him on September 12th were Andre Berto and Kareem Mayfield. Though he was likely kidding, a video of Mayweather also leaked stating that he heard Oscar De La Hoya was coming out of retirement and if he wanted to step into the ring with him on September 12th, "he could get it." One thing we've all learned about Floyd Mayweather over the years is that nothing comes as a surprise. Amir Khan has been the leading candidate to fight Mayweather in the fall but with Floyd Mayweather making the call one never really knows what is going to happen.
