It's a roller coaster of emotions for former world champion Oscar De La Hoya in the past couple weeks. Every day Oscar changes his mind about whether or not he will be returning to the ring. In his latest interview with ESPN, Oscar has stated that he is seriously considering making a comeback. He said that he thinks about it everyday.
"It's got to be worth my while but this is very serious," De La Hoya told ESPN.com on Monday. "I have to make sure I am fighting the very best. I don't have to come back for financial reasons or the lights or the glamour. The only reason I would come back is because I miss the competition of fighting the very best."
Oscar has two opponents in mind, a rematch with pound for pound King Floyd Mayweather or a fight against the most avoided fighter in boxing Gennady Golovkin. He would like for those two to face off with him getting the winner next year. Oscar told ESPN that the chances of him coming back are 50/50
