A big showdown between heavyweight champion Wladimir Klitschko and undefeated British contender Tyson Fury is looming for the fall however both sides have failed to negotiate the fight on their own. The heavyweight fight is now headed to a purse bid that will take place on July 6th according to a report from ESPN. Both sides are going to continue to try to make a deal in the coming days to prevent the purse bid from happening. Klitschko is coming off a less than stellar performance against Bryant Jennings in the United States while Fury defeated Christian Hammer back in February. The fight is expected to take place in the UK where Klitschko has stated he wants to fight Fury.
