Welterweight superstar Manny Pacquiao is expected to make a return in the Spring of 2016, according to trainer Freddie Roach. Roach told the USA Today that Pacquiao still has a few fights left in him and that he still has fun boxing. Pacquiao is recovering from a torn rotator cuff that he suffered during the Floyd Mayweather showdown on May 2nd. Roach doesn't know if a Mayweather-Pacquiao II fight is possible but that is the fight he wants again. He's convinced that Pacquiao could have beat Mayweather with two healthy shoulders. Top Rank just filed a $100 million dollar lawsuit against the PBC run by Mayweather's manager Al Haymon. The lawsuit could prevent Mayweather-Pacquiao II from happening meaning Pacquiao would have to face someone else. Regardless, Roach said Pacquiao's return will not be a tune-up fight and that they will go after the best available.
