Mosley-Mayorga is moving forward as scheduled

We reported earlier this week that Mosley-Mayorga was in serious jeopardy of getting cancelled by Don King. Mosley flew to Miami to try to save the fight and it seems as tho he was successful. Mosley is suppose to hold a press conference today to give more details. The event is schedule to be aired on PPV $49.95 PPV. Mosley returns to the ring for the first time in nearly two years. Mosley is also promoting the event himself.

This all started when Don King Promotions claims to have Mayorga tied up for years under an exclusive promotional contract which Mayorga allegedly extended in 2014. Judge Kathleen M. Williams stated, "the court fails to see how Mayorga's potentially poor performance on August 29th would negatively impact Don King Production's efforts to promote him in the future... Mayorga's career is nearing its end and Ms. Dana Jamison [of DKP] testified that since at least 2009, DKP has been unable to direct or strongly influence Mayorga's decisions. Mayorga's refusal to communicate with DKP... undermines the notion that any loss in directing his career would be irreparable harm [to DKP]." source

The event is on and schedule for this Sat, Aug 29 @ Forum, Inglewood, California, USA for PPV $49.99.
