Lateef Kayode will challenge southpaw Denis Lebedev for the WBA championship on November 4th @ Basket-Hall Arena, Kazan, Russia. The fight will co-headline the Alexander Povetkin's against Marisuz Wach. This is a schedule twelve round fight.

In Denis Lebedev last fight he defeated Youri Kayembre Kalenga by UD over 12, scores: judges: Stanley Christodoulou 116-111, Leszek Jankowiak 115-112, Giuseppe Quartarone 116-110. Lebedev was down in the 4th and Kalenga down in the 7th. Lebedev was two loses to Guillermo Jones & Marco Huck.

Lateef Kayode currently undefeated sporting a 70% knockout ratio is coming off a UD win over Nick Kisner, scores judges: Gerald Deming 100-90, Reccia Mullins 100-90, Mack Thornton 99-91.

Kayode is not happy about heading to Russia to take on Lebedev in his homeland but knows this win could lead to bigger fights next year.
