A big welterweight showdown between WBO champion Timothy Bradley (32-1-1, 12 KO's) and Mexican slugger Brandon Rios (33-2, 24 KO's) is almost done according to multiple sources throughout the industry. The fight is expected to take place on November 7th at a venue to be determined and is likely to be shown on HBO. Rios's trainer made a premature announcement yesterday on Twitter before deleting it. Rios's side has agreed to the fight. Bradley is expected to agree to it in the next few days though many believe he already has and the fight is waiting an "official announcement.
This is the second time in the last couple weeks that the fight was being discussed. Last month the fight was declared dead. Bradley announced that he will not longer be working with trainer Joel Diaz, which may have been playing on the decision of his next fight for the past couple weeks.
